About The Position

Eye-Net Mobile is a technology product company, engaged in the design and development of cellular-based V2X (vehicle-to-everything) accident prevention solutions. The project has been running within Foresight Automotive for more than 2 years prior to establishing the activity as a designated company in May 2018.

Eye-Net™ is designed to provide real-time pre-collision alerts to vehicles and vulnerable road users (pedestrians, cyclists, scooter drivers) by using smartphones and relying on existing cellular networks.

The Eye-Net™ solution is a software-based platform, agnostic to cellular infrastructures, that seamlessly adapts to the cellular network generation. Eye-Net™ uses advanced algorithms to compensate for latency that each mobile device is suffering from, and to optimize alert timing for each of the road users involved.

Designed to provide a complementary layer of protection beyond traditional Advanced Driver Assistance Systems, the Eye-Net™ solution extends protection to road users who are not in direct line of sight, and not covered by other alerting systems and sensors.


Position responsibilities 

  • Be the owner of the data science field in the organization. 
  • Research various directions to develop real-time algorithms in different areas, such as spatial correlations and driver behavioral analysis. 
  • Work closely with system, backend, mobile, and DevOps engineers to research and introduce models for machine learning and deep learning. 
  • Deploy your models to Eye-Net’s cloud based environment and create APIs for continuous learning. 
  • Utilize our large and complex datasets that contain billions of geo location points, map segments, and sensor signals to derive deep insights to serve business and technological needs. 


Requirements

  • At least 3 years experience with developing innovative algorithms – mandatory 
  • At least 3 years experience with big data processing – mandatory 
  • Experience with machine learning, deep learning, CNNs – mandatory 
  • Experience with data analysis tools and techniques, such as Python, R, etc. – mandatory 
  • Experience with mapping/geo location data processing - major advantage 
  • Experience in computer vision/image processing - major advantage 
  • Experience with C/C++ - advantage 
  • Experience with real-time algorithms – advantage 
  • Familiarity with big data processing technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, Flink – advantage 

 

Qualifications 

 

  • Master’s degree in Applied Mathematics / Statistics / Computer Science or similar fields – mandatory 
  • Experience in a startup environment – advantage
